It's Not Too Late to Give!
This year for Christmas, we at Catholic Charites are asking a simple question: What if he said no? What would have happened if the innkeeper had turned Joseph and Mary away on that fateful night over 2000 years ago?
Fortunately, he didn't. Although there was no room at the inn, the innkeeper let Mary and Joseph stay in his manger. The rest of the story we all know quite well...
But what does this mean today? The nativity story, especially the role of the innkeeper, represents a very simple idea: We can never know what good can come from small kindness.

Launching our 2007 Christmas Appeal, we are asking the people of St. Louis and the surrounding areas to share a small kindness with us on behalf of the poor and underserved in our community.
With the help of our donors, we hope to always provide room for God's children in need.
The goal for this year's campaign is $1.7 million. This figure represents what we need to keep our doors open and our services running. In the past, we have managed to surpass our projected goal thanks to your generosity. We hope we can count on you again.
As stewards of your goodwill, we are committed to channeling contributions in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Of every dollar we receive, 93 cents are sent directly towards helping people who need it most.
Support the Annual Catholic Charities Christmas Campaign in 2007.
Ensure a room at the inn for everyone in need.
