Catholic Charities Community Services Southside Center supports and strengthens St. Louis Metropolitan Area children, families, and communities by providing social services, mental health counseling, and youth programming in a bilingual, culturally sensitive environment. While those we serve continue to diversify, we will strive to meet their needs by providing comprehensive, culturally competent services to the immigrant and refugee populations of the community.

Services Provided:

Youth Services:


-After School and Summer Program (K-12th grade students)
-St. Louis International Youth Soccer League
-Leadership and Advocacy Programs
-Case Management
-Child Care for Adult Programs
-Educational Support and Advocacy

Mental Health:

-Hispanic Family Counseling Project: Individual, Family, Marriage, and Group Therapy (multilingual)
-Alcoholics Anonymous (Spanish speaking)
-Amigas Latinas/Women's Group: Social Support and Education
-Espacio Abierto Latino Elders Group: Social Support and Education on Health Issues
-Outreach and Counseling Services at Parish Sites

Social Support Services:

-Case Management
-Vietnamese Elders Group: Social Support and Education
-Chronic Disease Management Program for Vietnamese Elders
-Outreach and Case Management for Victims of Human Trafficking
-English as a Second Language Classes (ESL)
-Computer Literacy Program (Bilingual)
-Mexican GED Program
-Direct Aid (includes utilities, rent, and mortgage assistance)
