Job Description:
Oversight of CSTAR women and children’s program in accordance with Missouri Department of Mental Health’s rules and regulations. Reports to, Executive Director
Job Duties:
- Develops and implements CSTAR groups according to DMH guidelines and client needs.
- Communicates with the Executive Director and Program Managers to carry out the mission and goals of the Center.
- Coordinates with Director of Residential Services and Family Program Manager for integrated service delivery according to DMH standards and behavioral health best practices.
- Communicates with DMH staff and assists with the preparation of necessary reports for contract compliance.
- Provides counseling and diagnostic assessments as needed.
- Assists in communicating with outside agencies and networks, such as treatment centers, DMH, behavioral health provider groups, Catholic Charities’ agencies.
- Pursues continuing professional development, joins appropriate professional groups and attends pertinent meetings.
- Oversees annual training and educational programs for staff and interns.
- Researches and implements evidence-based behavioral health practices that are gender-specific and family-centered.
- Attends staff meetings and keeps abreast of program and clients’ status.
- Supervise program and activities in conjunction with clinical and administrative staff.
- Provides case program consultation and clinical supervision.
- Delivers individual and group services as needed according to DMH standards.
- Reviews service documentation to ensure DMH compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology with a license in Missouri and at least three (3) years of full time equivalent experience in the treatment or rehabilitation of substance abuse. If recoverying, minimum 5 years sobriety.

Skill in the development and coordination of behavioral health programs; establishing procedures and priorities; reviewing transactions; evaluating and implementing processes Ability to train and supervise staff; analyze, interpret and apply laws and regulations; establish and manage department priorities, processes and procedures; work independently; establish and maintain appropriate project deadlines; manage multiple projects; work with a variety of individuals and groups; communicate effectively; exercise sound judgment. Follows principles of Catholic Social Teaching. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
