Peace For Kids is seeking a part time, energetic, assistant teacher to work with our two year olds. Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5yrs in an accredited center preferred. Minimum of 2 college credit classes in Early childhood education is required, please do not respond to this posting if you do not meet the education requirement. Must be familiar with developmentally appropriate practices; have a strong knowledge of child development; an understanding of positive responsive caregiving and social emotional development of children. Patience and calm temperament and strong coping skills in stressful situations is a must. Afternoon/closing shift Monday through Friday 2p-6p, pay rate $10.60 per hour. 15-20 hrs, must be flexible with hours. Please email your resume to swilliams@ccstl.org or fax resume to 314-531-2954.
