St. Martha’s Hall

St. Martha's Hall (SMH) is committed to helping battered women and their children break the cycle of violence in their lives. We provide temporary shelter for women who have suffered physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse at the hands of their partner. Our shelter provides a supportive environment, enabling women and their children to evaluate their situation. The shelter is secure, as its location remains strictly confidential. In addition to the shelter, we have a 24-hour hotline for emergency situations.

We believe that education and awareness help to combat domestic violence. We offer children's programs to create advocacy and support. We also provide community education to help shine the light on this terrible problem which touches many lives.
