Activity Day
Plan arts and crafts, parties, games or other fun activities for agency clients.

Baby Showers
Collect new and gently used, clean baby items such as blankets, sleepers, strollers. Disposable diapers and maternity clothes also are needed.

Birthday Party
Ask guests to your celebration to honor you with a gift that will help someone served by a Catholic Charities agency.

Books
Collect appropriate books for youth programs to help children and teens build their own libraries.

Care Packages
Gather materials and assemble Care Packages for new residents.

Christmas Giving
Collect new toys, books and gifts for children served by Catholic Charities agencies.

Day of Pampering
Organize massage therapist, manicurist, hair stylist, and/or cosmetic specialist to provide free services to help women served within agencies feel better about themselves.

Decoration Day
Prepare decorative wreaths or other craft items for residences. Adopt a resident for a year and prepare holiday-themed decorations.

Flower Power
Plant and maintain an outside garden at a facility or make tissue paper flowers, which can be given to assisted living or nursing home residents.

Friendly Visitor
Participate in activities and visit with older persons. Make door decorations or cards to give to nursing home or assisted living residents as well as adult day care participants.

Game Day
donate new or gently-used games to be used in youth programs and residences.

Pajama Party
Collect new underwear and pajamas for children, teens and adults.

School Supplies
Collect school supplies for children. Many supplies run out or break by mid-year.

Share to Spend
Collect monetary donations to share with children in residential care homes. This will give the youth spending money for scheduled outings such as to the mall.

Smile Day
Collect toothbrushes and toothpaste for children and families.

Sock Hop
Host a dance with the admission price being a pair of socks or slippers.

Sweets Sale
Bake cookies and other treats to sell after church or at work or school. Proceeds will be donated to a particular cause.

TP Party
Collect toilet paper, shampoo, soap, disposable razors and other personal care items that can't be purchased with food stamps. Regular sizes can be used by families; individual sizes (e.g., unopened shampoo from hotel stays) are helpful to homeless persons.
