While most volunteer opportunities require work in an agency setting, a few at-home assignments are available.

Christmas Angels
These volunteers are given a list of donors to Catholic Charities Christmas Appeal, look up telephone numbers and make a thank you call to each donor. The call is in addition to a formal, written acknowledgment, and there is no solicitation involved. The work is seasonal, spanning the holiday season until mid-March.

Crafts/Needlework
These volunteers use their skills to crochet and knit baby afghans, sweaters and booties and pass their treasures to little ones whose parents cannot afford special items.

Several suggestions from the Student/Group Project list may be adaptable to at-home work by individuals.
