Services Provided: -Family Assistance includes direct aid--with education--through heating, shelter, and medication assistance, medical transportation, clothing, food, blankets, fans, personal hygiene products, et cetera. -Seasonal Programs include the Christmas give away called "The Reason for the Season." -Community Health programs include prevention and intervention, chronic disease management, and maternal/child. -Elderly program includes group activities for the mobile senior adult and telephonic activities for the homebound senior adult. Clients Served: -Individuals who benefit from the services provided at the Jefferson County center are individuals pre-birth through death, the chronically ill, young mothers pre and post-delivery, senior adults, and anyone needing financial assistance. Additional services include work sites and experience for senior adults and welfare-to-work recipients in need of employment-including both teens and adults. |
