Nov 2018
Each month, two Catholic Charities of St. Louis Federation employees nominated by their peers are recognized for exemplifying Personal Excellence, a Spirit of Servant Leadership, and the Catholic Charities Mission. The honorees for November 2018 are…
Good Shepherd Maternity Coordinator Theresa Brown
Theresa’s nominator described her as a game changer who cares deeply about the at-risk young mothers and babies in the Maternity Program, as well as her employees and teammates.
“Theresa leads not only with words, but in the way she goes about her job with professionalism, humility, compassion, and uncommon dedication,” said the nominator. “Her work ethic embodies Catholic Charities core values.”
St. Patrick Center Rapid Rehousing Case Manager Lisa Herzog
Lisa’s nominator provided many examples of how Lisa has demonstrated radical hospitality, responsible management of resources, and purpose-driven leadership. The examples included times she has made heroic and creative efforts to get clients the help they need.
“Lisa is approachable, caring, professional, and always willing to help no matter what the task,” said the nominator. “Her compassion and kindness are contagious and she is continually looking for ways to develop herself, while putting others first at all times.”
Congrats to all who were nominated! We’ll publish a complete list of nominees at the end of each quarter.
