MEET OUR APRIL EVERYDAY AMAZING EMPLOYEES

Each month, two Catholic Charities of St. Louis Federation employees nominated by their peers are recognized for exemplifying Personal Excellence, a Spirit of Servant Leadership, and the Catholic Charities Mission. The honorees for April 2019 are…

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services Nursing Supervisor LeeAnn Pruitt

As a weekend nursing supervisor at Mary, Queen and Mother Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center, LeeAnn demonstrates Cardinal Ritter Senior Services’ signature values: love, compassion, hope and integrity. While weekends are a challenging time to staff, LeeAnn makes sure the floor is adequately covered and goes about her busy days with a smile.

Her nominator noted LeeAnn’s willingness to lead weekend Memorial Honor Guard prayer services. This longstanding tradition honors residents who have died as they leave the building for the last time. Many employees find it difficult to lead this beautiful and emotional ritual, but LeeAnn personally witnesses to others the importance of doing so.

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services Management Assistant Taquita Cashaw

As a management assistant at Holy Angels Apartments in Bridgeton, Taquita is known by both staff and residents as an upbeat, creative thinker who always has a well-timed, encouraging word to share.

Her nominator noted that Taquita’s creativity and sensitivity particularly shine when she is planning social activities for the senior residents. And whether interacting with the residents, colleagues or outside vendors, Taquita is a pleasant, encouraging and respectful leader who is willing to step up and fill any need. C
