NEED HELP? The Catholic Charities COVID-19 Call Center responds to requests for rent, mortgage, utility, and other direct financial assistance needed due to COVID-19 related hardship, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

WANT TO HELP? Our Call Center has provided financial aid to 500+ households struggling due to the pandemic; 1,000 households through food distribution events. The need continues! Come out to honor our nation’s heroes and raises awareness for veteran homelessness at the Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk, Nov. 9 This family-friendly event includes a timed 5K, 1Mile Fun Run, free Kids Dash, and other activities. To participate, volunteer, or learn more, visit

Most of the agencies (and Catholic Charities) post events on their Facebook pages. Simply go to an agency page, click Events in the left column, find an upcoming event, and use the Share function. Upcoming events include:

Oct. 16 Shout Out to Cathedral Basilica ambassadors for collecting personal care items, women’s undergarments, and bedding items to distribute to agencies in most need.

Oct. 4 Shout Out to Annunziata and Our Lady of Providence ambassadors who will host Catholic Charities info weekends at and after masses Oct. 26 & 27!

Sept. 18 Shout Out to St. Clement of Rome ambassadors who will be passing out Catholic Charities information at the parish St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk on September 28!

Sept. 17 Shout Out to St. Anselm ambassadors who will collect move-in kit items for St. Patrick Center at their October Women’s Fellowship meeting!

Sept. 17 Shout Out to St. Alban Roe ambassadors who will host a Catholic Charities table at their Festival of Ministries, Oct. 26/27!

Sept. 16 Shout Out to Our Lady of Providence ambassadors who have invited Lisa to speak at their November Women’s League meeting!

Sept. 9 Shout Out to St. Clement of Rome ambassadors who are already organizing an Easter project for the children and teens at Marygrove!
